Woman Charged with Sex Crimes against her child

Sheriff Jeff Paden says that a Noble County woman has been arrested and charged by detectives in his Investigations Division with sex crimes against a 6 year old child. Naomi Seymour, age 28 of Caldwell was charged July 23rd with Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor or Impaired Person, a felony of the second degree and Gross Sexual Imposition, a felony of the third degree.

Lieutenant Sam Williams, the lead investigator on the case says that Seymour was arrested after graphic nude photos of her daughter were discovered on her cellphone. He added that more charges will be presented to the grand jury following the completed investigation.

Sheriff Paden said that he would also like to thank the Guernsey County Probation Department and Cedar Ridge Counseling Center for their assistance in the case.
